How do I recycle batteries?
Recently, the Berkeley County Solid Waste Authority added battery recycling to the Berkeley County Recyling Program. The Grapevine Road Recycling Center and the South Berkeley Recycling Center currently accept automotive, rechargeable, and dry cell batteries for recycling.

How do I dispose of Hazardous waste?
Hazardous waste, including cleaning products, caustic chemicals, pesticides, painting supplies, and flammable/toxic products can be disposed of on an individual basis. By contacting the WV Department of Environmental Protection at 304-558-5938 or David Wheatcraft at dwheatcraft@wvdep.org, one can arrange to have these materials picked up and disposed of. For more information on this, please visit the EPA
